Day 74

The Beautiful Actions

Beautiful actions

Demand full attention and

Create wonderful

Moments to be beheld with

Glorious vision

Taking as much as they can

Imbues each action with love.

Day 73

The Wayward Trees

Wayward trees call me

To come merrily to them

Asking me to dance

With them, to let my arms sway

With the wind like them

To frolic wildly free

Joining with them their joy.

Day 72

Future History

I find it kind of neat

To think of the future

What history might say

Of me, life’s little creature

She may say that I served

Her in her dire need

But that I ended the battle

When all of love was freed

She may boast and claim to

Say that I am a renown writer

That writes only of love

Never about God’s loving fighter

Or she may say that I lived

And died only in peace

Living in solitude only

For my food and my fleece

She may say that I left the world

To go live besides the holy mountain

And only came down to

Construct Love’s holy fountain

There is one thing she should

Say above all the rest

That I lived in peace and love

And that all of life is blessed.

Day 71

Celestial Melodies

It has been mused

That each and every

Planet

            As it orbits

Around its focal start

Sounds a harmonic

            Note

The pitch is higher

            With increase speed

                        Or shorter

                                    Orbit

The pi t  ch    is  h ig  h e  r

            W   it   h      in   cr    ea   se  d   s p  e  e  d

                        O   r         l   o  n  g   e      r

                                    O   r   b    I    t

Science now knows

The vastness of

The cosmos has no

            Boundaries

New stars forming

 – new planets emerge

Old stars burning out

 – Older planets dying

Now just imagine

What the orchestra would

Play

With God conducting

            That band

Day 68

I want

I want to hold your hand

Walking down the valley of the cedars

I want to caress your skin

Gazing into the deepness of your eyes

I want to take you there

Where you can meet the family

I want to go with you

Talking all along our path

I want to smell your fragrance

Intoxicating my mind with your greatness

I want to feel your love

With all of your actions

I want to hold your hand

Walking wherever we choose

Day 67

I Am A Foreigner

I am a foreigner in the land I was born

I know the language but not what they speak

I see the people who know me – but know not my mind

I am a foreigner in the land I was born

I hear familiar words, but little of their meaning

I love them for who they are – not what they have done

I am a foreigner in the land I was born

I speak with the same words but a different language

The people hear my words – not what I say

I am a foreigner in the land I was born

I live the same life but in a different way

The people see me – not the path I walk

Day 66

A kiss

One gentle kiss from your lips

Coaxes my spirit, setting me free

One soft kiss from your heart

Raises my pulse, quickening my pace

One passionate kiss from your lips

Puts my heart aflutter, stealing my words

One sensual kiss from your eyes

Entices my desire, drawing me near

One faithful kiss from your lips

Absolves my fears, giving me truth

One long kiss from your soul

Receives my love, sealing your fate

One gentle kiss from my lips

Coaxes your spirit, setting us free

To fly the infinite chasm of love

Day 66

To You

To you, my lover, a stranger, brother, sister

I give the best of myself

To you, you drunk, you holy person, farmer, banker

To you I give my self – my only possession

To you, driver, businessman, artist, athlete

I sing my only song – the song of the moment

To you, scientist, teacher, carpenter, logger

The world turns for you – always for you

To you, mother, father, friend, enemy

The season’s give their fruits – each in their own way

To you, sleeper, runner, boater, fisherman

Beauty extends it’s lovely hand – reaching for you

To you digger, constructer, architect, designer

Wisdom teaches its only lesson – giving it for you

And virtue is gracious

Be patient my brother, for patience is a virtue

To you, my eyes glisten

To you, my being feels

To you, my body yearns

To you, my mind wanders

To you, my senses enliven

To you, my soul aches

To you, my wisdom flows
