Day 268

Will You Know Me?

Will you know me when I leave

remembering always souls we weave

Speaking always from death above

Being drowned in the ocean of love

What will you speak about my life

the struggles and of the strife?

I wish to speak of the deeds done

and how hearts and minds were won

To emancipate the love forbidden

Locked always in the heart that’s hidden

To see beauty always where it lies

Following the provincial truth that cries

So will you remember me at the very end

How life was spent giving love to foe and friend
